The Family Sourcebooks for Lent/Easter and Advent/Christmas were published by Women for Faith & Family. They are in the process of being revised.


Pope John Paul II has repeatedly referred to the Catholic family as the "Domestic Church", for it is within the family that we form our first ideas about life and love, and about God and His Church.

Catechism of the Catholic Church:

The Christian home is the place where children receive the first proclamation of the faith. For this reason the family home is rightly called "the domestic church," a community of grace and prayer, a school of human virtues and of Christian charity.

In order to help provide families with handy resources for the two major seasons of the liturgical year, Advent and Christmas, Lent and Easter, Women for Faith and Family produced two easy-to-use spiral-bound booklets. They contain:
